The Alaska Science of Reading Symposium is happy to announce that they will be offering live streaming of all breakout and keynote sessions. Registration for the in-person conference is now closed. In an effort to include as many educators, administrators, and advocates, as possible we are offering live streaming of all keynote and breakout sessions for all three days of the symposium. The second annual Science of Reading Symposium is aimed at empowering Alaskan educators to connect understanding of reading science to classroom and leadership practices, resulting in increased reading proficiency for students. This free three-day conference will bring renowned speakers from across the country and focus on:

This event is open to classroom educators and instructional support staff, school and district administrators, school board members, legislators, community and tribal leaders, parents, and anyone interested in improving reading achievement for Alaska’s students.
